Maps in Learning including Google Cardboard

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

With maps now online, this opens up a multitude of possibilities for the classroom. There are many mapping tools out there, however this session will look at the tools that Google offers as part of the Google Apps suite. So this session will cover:
  • Google Maps
  • Google My Maps
  • Google Tour Builder
  • Maps on a Mobile Device
  • The Google Arts Project
  • Ideas for using Mapping in Learning
  • Street View and Virtual Reality tours

Google offers great collaborative options with sharing so students can work on maps together. The session will look at how you could use Maps across all subjects. The 60 mins will be used as an overview of what could be possible, but will not go into detail. We will discuss ideas from the session which can then be used for further support with the instructor.
